We are headed to Magic Kingdom in 2 weeks. Wondering if the Monday of Thanksgiving week would be a good time. We have not purchased our tickets yet for the park either and wondering if we could just purchase them at the park?

Hi Sarah. Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.
I am glad to hEAR you are planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park in a couple weeks. How exciting! Christmas decoration is already there making this amazing park even more beautiful and magical.
The week right after Thanksgiving tends to be busy at Disney Parks, but not crowded. Mondays are usually busier at Magic Kingdom Park, because many people start their vacation on Monday, and this is the first park most people want to visit while at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you can choose, I would suggest Tuesday or Wednesday for Magic Kingdom Park. I usually check at for crowd calendars, they provide good information regarding crowds and best park to visit each day.
If you can buy your tickets prior to your visit, I encourage you to do so. You can save time in line to get your tickets by the park entrance. Besides you will be able to select your FastPass+ in advance, which is a great benefit for Disney Guests.
Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a wonderful day!
