Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is surrounded by schools of tropical fish and other mesmerizing marine life. Guests ages 10 and up can rent snorkel gear at Flippers & Fins, conveniently located along the family beach. While the older two are snorkeling, the younger ones might enjoy walking along the beach and searching for crabs – during our visit last month, we spotted two!
I think what sets Lookout Cay apart from other beach destinations is that there is so much to do. Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the activities happening on and off the ship. My family particularly enjoyed the "Sights & Sounds of Junkanoo Workshop." Here, we learned about the significance of music and costumes in the Junkanoo festival and had the opportunity to create our own music and headdresses for "RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration." Being part of this lively musical parade, alongside Mickey and the gang, was an unforgettable experience that brought the festival's spirit to life.
Another highlight for us was the Rush Out Gush Out water play area. It has two water slides – one larger and one smaller – and various splash zones; it's the perfect spot for family fun. After splashing around, make your way to Sandsational Smoothies nearby and savor a refreshing drink while overlooking the ocean. If you're a fan of Dole Whip, don't miss the frozen Pineapple Pleaser, made with Dole Whip pineapple, marshmallow cream, and graham crackers. You can even get it in a souvenir Disney Cruise Line pineapple cup, bringing a taste of the island home with you.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, we're here to help! Have a great time exploring all the wonders of Disney Lookout Cay.
SEAS the adventure!
