Millenium Falcon Night

Hello. We are headed to Hollywood Studios the first week of November with one mission: get in all the Star Wars rides. With the virtual queue gone, what is the play now? Is there a "fast pass" option? Or just get there? Thx

Bright suns, Derek! I like your energy! The Force must be strong with you! Clearly, you have set your course for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

You are correct! The virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is on hold. Now, Guests are able to wait in the traditional queue for their opportunity to join the Resistance. Or, perhaps you are aligned firmly with the First Order? This is a truly amazing attraction! In fact, it feels more like a mini Star Wars movie starring you, than it does a theme park attraction.

Of course, you’ll also want to board the Millennium Falcon to take the controls of the ship that made the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs! This is possible on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run!

Guests staying at a resort hotel in the Disney Parks Collection are able to take advantage of the Early Theme Park Entry benefit. This allows Guests of a Disney Resort Hotel to enter the theme parks a half-hour prior to the scheduled opening time. Of course, many Star Wars fans want to head directly to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! So, upon arrival, I recommend heading directly to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge if you are toward the front of the crowd.

The lines for these attractions grow quickly, but then level off as the day goes on. So, if upon arrival the lines are already long, head to another attraction and then return to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge later. Also, it has been my experience that the posted wait times tend to go a little faster than posted.

You could also opt for the new Disney Genie+ service! This $15 per ticket/per day upgrade allows Guests to skip to the Lightning Lane on attractions such as Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. However, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is not included in Disney Genie+ service. For that attraction, you can either wait in the traditional queue or pay for individual access to the attraction by purchasing the new Lightning Lane feature! Both Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane will be available in your My Disney Experience app!

May the Force be with you!
