Hi! I am headed to Epcot on Dec. 29th. I have a dining package to see the 8:15 Candlelight Processional. Is there any chance that I will also be able to see Luminous? I feel like I made a mistake making the reservation for the late showing!

Welcome to planDisney, Celine! We're so happy you're here and even more excited to learn that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the merriest season of all! I'll be happy to share some advice as you continue planning for this upcoming visit.

It sounds like you're booked for the stunning tradition of the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, featuring orchestral renditions of holiday songs and the Christmas story told by celebrity narrators. In fact, I just noticed that the date you mentioned will feature the amazing Jodi Benson - an original Disney Princess! Now, since you've booked a Candlelight Processional dining package at one of the fifteen select dining locations offering this package, you might know that there are multiple reservation times during breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings that ensure reserved seating during the scheduled showtimes. I'm not sure what time your actual dining reservation is, but at the restaurant, you should receive a Candlelight Processional badge that indicates you have guaranteed reserved seating for the 8:15 PM showtime on the December 29th date that you have booked. The Candlelight Processional lasts approximately 40 minutes and you'll want to account for enough time beforehand to get seated (since it is first-come, first-served in the reserved seating area).

Celine, you've asked a really good question about being able to view Luminous The Symphony of Us on the same evening as your Candlelight Processional dining package. Since this spectacular nighttime show is scheduled to start at 9:30 PM, I do think that you'll have enough time to watch both - so long as you stay flexible about where you'd like to view Luminous The Symphony of Us from around the World Showcase. Luckily, there are so many wonderful vantage points, you really can't go wrong! Remember that showtimes are always subject to change, and I recommend that you check the My Disney Experience app or the Hours & Events Calendar on the day of your visit.

I hope this has been useful for now, and please don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney again soon if we can assist with anything else that comes up! Wishing you so much joy and magic this holiday season.

    Magically yours,
    Tishra
