My Dh and I are headed to DW in about 20 days for our first trip together! Anyway, I was wondering if it would be worth it to purchase a disney dining plan for the 2 of us? We are staying off site & plan on eating breakfast there. Should we do it? TIA

    Ashley:

Unfortunately, if you stay off-site you won't be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan. It's one of the perks for guests who stay at a Disney property.  It's not too late, though, to get in on the special offer for winter & spring rates found here. And you can then purchase the plan on top of it.

If you decide to get it in the future, I recommend the basic Dining Plan, but generally not the others. You can typically find savings with it, but not if you spend your credits on breakfast. You need to use the credits on dinner reservations to fully use its value.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
