Headed down in October with our son who will be 18 months old...it will be a new experience for us but we can't wait. Any tips on what to do, how to schedule out our days? Is it worth buying tickets to MNSSHP?

    Hello there George!

I love watching the magic of a Walt Disney World vacation unfold in my little one's eyes. You are going to adore it and cherish all of the memories you make together.

I love the Planning with Pre-School Kids and Little Ones site. You will find sample itineraries, attractions appropriate for your little prince and even a tip or two from parents like us. Although, he may not remember this trip for very long, you will, so have fun! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite special event, so I would definitely recommend it. The special parade and fireworks are the best and it's incredible to see the park all decorated.

My number one tip when traveling with kiddos is to slow down and take it easy. It's hard not to get caught up in the excitement of Disney, but you also don't want to over-plan and miss the little magical moments of his first trip.

Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with. Enjoy your vacation!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
