We are headed to Disneyland in Nov this year. 2 years ago we came for the Halloween theme days and party. This year hoping to see the Holiday decor. We will be there Nov 7-9th. Will there be any park closures or events? What theme will be in the parks?

Howdy, Jennifer! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

I'm sure you are already getting into the holiday spirit as you plan your November vacation to the Disneyland Resort. The Holidays officially start on November 9, 2018, and you will notice that the parks will be receiving their final touches of decorations the first few days of your trip. As the parks prepare, "it's a small world" will be closed until November 9 as it concludes the final preparations to transition to "it's a small world" Holiday. Other than that planned refurbishment, you will want to check the schedule as your travel dates approach to see if there are any other closures during your visit.

On your last day, be sure to take in all the exclusive holiday entertainment like A Christmas Fantasy parade, the lighting of Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, and the Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure Park. There will certainly be a lot to see and do as the Holidays get underway so I'm certain you will have a fantastic time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
