Hi, Kristen! Yay! You will be at the Happiest Place on Earth in just a matter of days!!
I think your approach to dining at the Disneyland Resort is perfect. Your schedule will allow you to easily decide where to eat depending on how you are feeling at that particular time and where you happen to be in the parks. There are oodles of
quick service dining locations scattered throughout the parks and the Downtown Disney District and I have found the lines for these eateries to be pretty quick. The one exception would be the Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland. Since this is a limited-time only, special restaurant, the lines tend to be quite long.
Some of my favorite stops for a quick meal include Flo's V8 Cafe, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, Pacific Wharf Cafe, French Market Restaurant, Hungry Bear Restaurant, and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. Also, if you can manage to eat at non-peak times like right at 11:00 a.m. or perhaps 4:30 p.m. for an early dinner, you can save yourself even more time. But honestly, I don't foresee you having trouble. Also, another idea is to form a meal out of snacks.
Bengal Barbeque features an assortment of tasty skewers that you can easily mix and match to create a fine meal. Or Wetzel's Pretzels is a great choice for a quick bite in the
Downtown Disney District.
Finally, one last tip. If you feel like you really want to sit down for a meal one evening, check the
Disneyland app for available dining reservations that day. There are usually a few great options to choose from with same-day availability.
