Hi, Kim! Yay! I'm so excited that you are bringing your little one to the Disneyland Resort! We first took our daughter on a Disney Parks vacation when she was a toddler and we all had a grand time! I would start the day with a few
attractions without height restrictions. This means your child can ride with you, no matter his/her size. My top recommendations are "it's a small world," Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland Park. In Disney California Adventure Park, don't miss The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Heimlich's Chew Chew Train.
When my daughter was around that age, she loved
meeting characters. From princesses, Toy Story friends, to Mickey and all his pals, character experiences are around nearly every corner. Exploring
Mickey's House and meeting Mickey at the end is usually a big hit with toddlers.
When it's time for a diaper change or just a quick rest, be sure to visit a
Baby Care Center. They offer changing tables, highchairs, rocking chairs, and you can even purchase baby essentials and over-the-counter-medication.
Finally, I 100% recommend taking a stroller! Little legs wear out fast and toddlers sure get heavy after carrying them for a while. Having a stroller allows you to efficiently and safely transport your kid around the parks and stroller parking is abundantly available. You can bring along your own stroller or
rent one at the Disneyland Resort.
Have a magical day!
