Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dawn!
I simply adore the fact that you are planning ahead for your Disneyland Resort vacation next year! Advanced planning and research brings me so much joy that I love getting started as early as possible. At the recent D23 Expo, it was announced that
exciting things are coming to the parks in 2018 and one of them is the return of the Paint the Night parade. This mesmerizing parade originally dazzled Guests as part of the Diamond Celebration for the Disneyland Resort's 60th anniversary. It will return next year, but this time it will run in Disney California Adventure Park. Additionally, the Pixar Play Parade will park hop to Disneyland Park and march down Main Street, U.S.A. We don't yet know the dates of when these will begin taking place, so make sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for all the new information.
As for dining with a view of the fireworks, you might want to try the new
Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge Experience. Perhaps after enjoying a nice dinner at Blue Bayou Restaurant or Carthay Circle Restaurant, you can indulge in some sweets and a hot or cold non-alcoholic beverage all from the balcony lounge of the Tomorrowland Expo Center. From here, you'll have a nice view of the fireworks (schedule and weather permitting) while you relax in this exclusive area. Of course, check the Disneyland website often as there may be other dining events added in the future or packages that come with preferred viewing of the fireworks.
I'd love to continue to help you plan, so please stop by again with any other questions you may have!
