We are headed to Disney World this week. Some dinner reservations I made are restaurants within the parks. We were hoping to go back to our hotel before dinner. Can we still have dinner at the restaurant if we aren't at that particular park that day?

    Hi, Theodore!

In order to dine inside a theme park, you need a valid park admission. If changing parks mid-day, you will need to have the Park Hopper option added to your ticket which allows you to visit multiple parks in the same day. With the base ticket, you are welcome to leave and return, but it must be to the same park.

If you currently have a "base" ticket which allows one park per day, you will either need to change your reservation plans, or add on the Park Hopper option. To upgrade your current tickets, you can give a call to (407)934-7639, or if you want to wait until you arrive in Walt Disney World, simply go to any ticket window and a friendly cast member will upgrade your tickets and give you exact pricing.

Any dining reservations can be changed online or you can do that by phone as well at (407)WDW-DINE. If you find you cannot make any of your reservations, make sure to cancel to avoid any no-show fees.

I suggest to make any changes as soon as possible so you do not have to take time out of your magical vacation to modify your plans. While doing this, make sure you also have your FastPass+ times locked in. It is so fun to zoom through the lines with your FastPass+!

If you have any other questions regarding Park Hopping, or upgrading your tickets, let me know! I want your vacation to be "practically perfect" in every way!
