Hi, Ashley!
The
Walt Disney World Resort is a fabulous place to celebrate your kids’ birthdays! Nothing quite compares to an enchanting day spent at “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” especially when you’re there for a special occasion!
While I've not seen Mickey-shaped doughnuts at Walt Disney World recently, I suggest your daughter try the beignets offered at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Beignets are doughnut-like treats made of fried dough and dusted with powdered sugar. Though not Mickey-shaped, they’re unique, delicious and made fresh at
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.
However, there’s certainly no shortage of Mickey-shaped food at Walt Disney World! Aside from the typical sweet fare you mentioned your daughter doesn’t care for, there are many other scrumptious options, from Mickey soft pretzels, to Mickey waffles and pancakes, to Mickey cereal treats. If all else fails, three of the traditional round doughnuts available at many resort bakeries can be made into a “Hidden Mickey” with some creative placement!
I hope this information helps, Ashley, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted vacation with your family! Please don’t hesitate to ask us any other questions you may have as you continue to plan.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
