Hi, Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It sounds like you have been doing your resEARch on your
Disney Dining Plan! There have been some recent updates to the Disney Dining Plan. I am happy to tell you that non-alcoholic specialty beverages and, for Guests 21 and older, beer, wine, and cocktails are now included in the Disney Dining Plan. Another recent change has to do with what is included with a quick-service meal.
Your meal at a quick-service location will include an entree and beverage. Instead of including a dessert as the Disney Dining Plan did in the past, an additional snack entitlement is now included for each day. I personally really like this update. I am not always hungry enough to eat a dessert right after my meal, but I often want a snack later in the day. You can take a look at exactly what is included in your
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan on the Walt Disney World website.
Be sure to book your advanced dining reservations 180 days before your arrival. Since you are staying at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, you have some amazing restaurants right in your resort hotel. My family loves to have breakfast at
Chef Mickey's, and for fine dining with a magical view, you can't beat
California Grill.
Let us know if we can help with any other plans for your upcoming trip!
See ya real soon!
Samantha
