The beach at
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is such a wonderful destination and perfect for relaxing, swimming, and playing in the sand. While there are no sand toys to rent on the island, you'll find a selection of toys for purchase in the shops just steps away from the tram stop. My family visited Lookout Cay about two weeks ago, and we decided to bring a couple of toys from home. We actually purchased them on a previous Disney Cruise and just pack them every time we sail.
When you arrive at the island, you'll see a long, curved pier that was built to allow the ship to dock with minimal disruption to the environment. The walk will take about 10-15 minutes to the tram, and wagons are provided for those with little ones. There is no need to pack beach towels, as towels will be provided for your use at Lookout Cay. You'll see them at the end of the tram ride. Lookout Cay has everything you need for a fun day in the sun, including lounge chairs, umbrellas, lunch, beverage stations, and ice cream!
