We're headed to Disney 12/12 for our grandkids ( 4 & 8) first trip. They are forcasting 60's during day but 40's at night. Yikes! Any hints on how to handle this and enjoy all the nightime activities..cant see lugging heavy coats all day..is there time

Hi, Roseanne!  I am packing for this weekend, too, so I know how you feel!   We plan to wear long sleeve T-shirts and I am going to have a light sweatshirt for each of my kids in my backpack.  I will also have gloves for everyone.  I am going to bring their heavy coats and put them in a locker in the front of the park. (Lockers located in each park.)  When the sun goes down and it gets chilly, we can just get the coats from the locker.   I am also going to have a small fleece blanket in my backpack so if we decide to watch a parade, the kids have a blanket to sit on (not just the cold ground.)  If you plan to have a stroller for the 4 year old (recommended) you can keep some "extras" in the basket of your stroller.

Here's hoping for some sunshine and warm temperatures!  See you on Main Street USA!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
