I am headed to Disney in a few weeks, staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I would really rather not use the treadmill for my morning jogs. Is there a running path you would recommend? And if not one there, is there a resort with a good path for future visits?

    Hi Monina,
Great question and good for you for staying on top of your fitness routine while on vacation!

There is a jogging path/trail around the Uzima pool area at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
It is not a long route but you can add in some body weight exercises on each lap, such as push ups, squats, and lunges-just to make it interesting!!

Ask the front desk as well, they can help you with paths/trails that are good to run as well along with giving you a map.

Mix it up a little. Use the gym on a couple of the days and try out some of the equipment. To add some variety with strength training throw in some cardio intervals, either using the machines(treadmill) or stationary cardio such as jumping jacks or skipping on the spot.

There are a lot of options for staying fit while on your vacation.

Again, good for you for taking care of your health!!

Have a great vacation and enjoy your workouts!
