Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited to have you here. Visiting Walt Disney World Resort in the Fall is my favorite time to visit. The weather is perfect, the decorations are magical, and I love all the yummy treats that come out during the Fall season.
Before I give you the steps to make a payment or pay off your remaining balance, we need to figure out if you are even eligible to do so. If you have a room-only reservation for a resort stay at a
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel (this means you did not purchase it as a package with your Theme Park Tickets), then you are not eligible to make advanced payments towards your remaining balance. Guests who have room-only reservations can only make their final payment during check-in. How do you know that you have a room-only reservation? If you open up your email confirmation and scroll until the section after “Contact Us,” you will see the words “Room Only Terms and Conditions.” You can also see it in
My Disney Experience under “My Plans.”
Now, if you did book a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, you can make advanced payments towards your remaining balance using the following steps:
1. First, log in to your My Disney Experience account and select “My Plans” from the drop-down menu.
2. Under “My Plans,” you should see your upcoming Fall trip itinerary, including your resort hotel details and Disney Park Pass Reservations. If you do not see your hotel details under “My Plans,” you will need to link your hotel to My Disney Experience to proceed.
3. If you can see your resort hotel information, you should also see a blue button next to it labeled “Make Payment.”
4. Select that button you will be able to see your current remaining balance and be able to make a payment.
