Welcome to planDisney, Darius! Your vacation on Disney Cruise Line will be here before you know it. I hope you and your family are excited!
Since the liquid is a medication, the bottle can be brought onboard if already open. I highly suggest that your family members keep it in the original container. If the vitamin is a prescription, then make sure the prescription sticker is affixed to the bottle. Since it is expensive, I also suggest that your family members pack it in their carry-on bags. If there are any questions in the security area, they can be addressed there instead of the delivery of their checked luggage being delayed to their stateroom. My sister usually uses a small roller bag as a carry-on because staterooms will not be ready until the afternoon. If this medication needs to be refrigerated, there is a small refrigerator in each stateroom.
If anyone in your traveling party has over-the-counter medications or other prescription medications, I suggest they be in the original containers as well. If there is a medical emergency, the medication can be easily identified in the original containers. There is a
Health Center on each Disney Cruise Line ship if anyone needs medical attention.
Darius, I hope this helps you and your family with your final packing plans. Check out the
Prohibited and Restricted Items before you zip those suitcases up! If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney before you sail away. I hope you have the best cruise ever!
Bon Voyage!
