Hi Moms! Headed to BLT in July and wondering if I should get a quick serve dining plan. Are there different menus that kids 9 and under have to order from at Quick Serve restaurants or is it the same as the adult menu? My kid eats like an adult!

    Hi Kerry,

Your upcoming trip to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is quickly approaching...you must be super excited! It is hard not to feel spoiled with a stay at this modern, sleek Resort located in the heart of all the action, just steps away from Magic Kingdom Park.

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to pre-budget all of your meals and snacks during your trip. The Quick-Service Dining Plan you are considering will provide all guests in your travel party two Quick-Service meal credits and two Snack credits for each night of your stay, as well as a Resort refillable mug valid for your length of stay. Any guests in your travel party who are between 3-9 years of age at the time of check-in will need to order from the children's menu when redeeming Quick-Service meal credits. (If no children's menu is available, they are free to order from the main menu.) Therefore, if you have a child who is under 9 years of age who would not be satisfied with a children's meal, the Disney Dining Plan may not be a good fit for your family.

If you decide not to purchase a Disney Dining Plan, many Disney Table-Service and Quick-Service Restaurants currently offer discounts to both Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members in case anyone in your travel party is eligible.

Kerry, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to finalize plans for your upcoming trip. Should you have any further questions, please let us know. We would love to hEAR from you again!

Wishing you a fabulous upcoming vacation!
