    Headed to Aulani 12/19-12/26. I read on here that was part of rainy season. With 2 boys(3&7) and my hubby- Suggestions on what type of thgs to plan to still have fun?

    Aloha Marsha!  You are going to have a wonderful time at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, during the upcoming holiday season - I'm going at the exact same time and my family and I can't wait!  Although the rainy season in Hawaii runs from November through to March, Ko'Olina, where Aulani is located, tends to get the least amount of rain during that time.  I'm sure that was part of the master plan when Disney decided where to locate Aulani!  In case there are rain showers during your visit, this would be a perfect time to take part in some of the indoor family activities that will be listed in the Daily 'Iwa.  Be sure to check it daily, as the activities do change. Also, Auntie's Beach House, a complimentary service offered to Aulani Guests, offers a multitude of activities like crafts, dancing and cartoons that are sure to keep your little 'Keiki" busy if the weather is not optimal outside.  Another fun activity that you could do as a family is to search for the Menehune - mythical little people hiding out all around the resort!  You can find these little statues in the most unusual places, indoors and out. Exploring the inside of Aulani by searching for the Menehune would be a really fun activity for all the members of your family.  

    Hopefully you'll have nothing but sunshine during visit to Aulani, but if the rain does come, these activities should keep your boys busy until it passes.  I wish you and your family a Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) during your stay!
