    We head to WDW from the UK soon. Looking to purchase magic bands as my 6 year old has additional needs and hope having the band will help him. Can't purchase them from the UK. Is it easy to get the bands at the parks? Do they cost more there? Thanks

    Hi Claire, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. 

    As a Canadian, I share your frustration that MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally. The good news is that you’ll either be able to pick up a complimentary set (one for each member of your party) when you check in for your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. 

    If you aren’t staying “on property”, however, don’t worry! You can either purchase a choice of solid colour MagicBands directly at Guest Relations when you pick up your Theme Park Tickets, or you can purchase really cool character MagicBands at several merchandise locations in the Theme Parks or Disney Springs. The Cast Member at that merchandise location will then be able to link your band to your My Disney Experience account and, voila! Your little one will be good to go.
