We head out on the Fantasy next week & our cruise Facebook group is confused about the “no sandals” policy at Palo & Remy. I have strappy heels (open toe) - I’m pretty sure I’ve worn them in the past. When Disney says “sandals”, what do they mean?

    Hi there, Kathleen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your trip is so soon!  Just a few more sleeps and you will be on your way to sea for a FANTASTic vacation!  Countdown is ON!

I know finalizing packing lists can be a little daunting, especially when preparing for a lovely night at one of the adult-only restaurants onboard.  I look forward to my Palo or Remy dinner each sailing and thoroughly enjoy the excellent food and amazing service provided.  I can assure you that you will be fine with open-toed heeled shoes.  My interpretation of the “no sandals’ is flip flops or shoes that would be worn at a beach.  I figure if I can’t easily walk in sand while wearing the shoes, they are perfect for dinner at Palo or Remy!

If you haven’t yet done so, be sure to get the Navigator app to your smartphone so that you can have an up to date schedule of activities and entertainment onboard during your sailing.  You will have so many things going on, especially heading out on a Star Wars Day at Sea sailing and will want to have all that information at your fingertips!

I wish you a wonderful and magical journey at sea with Captain Mickey and friends!

    Happy Sailing!
