Hi Moms, We are going to head to Disney the first week of December. What would be the best moderate hotel to stay in with a 2.5 year old, seeing that we wouldn't be using the pool? Thanks

Hi Claire - I really like both the Port Orleans French Quarter resort, as well as Coronado Springs.  There are pros and cons to both, depending on your preferences.

The Port Orleans French Quarter is a low-key, quaint resort, with bus access to the parks, and boat access to Downtown Disney.  I really like the food court at Port Orleans French Quarter, but for table service, you'll need to take a short walk to Riverside.

Coronado Springs is much larger, and has a convention center, so there are quite a few conventioneers.  The rooms, however, are nicer than those at the French Quarter, and have queen beds rather than doubles.

    Have a great vacation!
