Hey Howdy Hey Jordan and welcome to planDisney!
I love that working with some employers, you can get discounts on travel and things like tickets to Walt Disney World Resort! What a nice perk! Thank you for stopping by with your question on the next steps after you purchase them. You've got a friend in me Jordan, to help you through this process. Let's get this wagon train a-movin'!
The details of the purchase you make depend on the company you buy your tickets from. Typically, after you make your purchase, you will be notified by the company you purchase from and then Disney via confirmation emails. In one of them, you should see a confirmation for tickets to Walt Disney World Resort which you will use to plug into your
My Disney Experience account online. This process is super easy in that once you log on, right under your name, you should see several options of things to link to your account, hotel reservations, park tickets, dining reservations and such. If you put your cursor on the ticket icon, you should see a couple of options come up one being "Link Tickets" which you will click on. Once you do, the Walt Disney World confirmation number for your tickets will be plugged in there and your tickets should be linked to your account which should see as well as the ticket icon will turn blue.
If you scroll down under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section, look for the heading "Tickets and Passes" which you will click on. You should also see your tickets there as well as the members of your party they are assigned to. This can easily be changed so if you selected the wrong member at the start, feel free to get this updated here!
If you continue to have issues with your tickets, I would start by reaching out to the company you purchased them from. If you are unable to get them resolved you can
reach out to Disney next at (407) 934-7639 and a Cast Member will be happy to help with any issues.
The final step would be making your
Theme Park Reservations. This should be straightforward as well after you have your tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account. From your account's home screen, one of the icons at the top next to the ticket icon should be for Park Reservations. If you highlight this option, you should be given the option to "Make a Park Reservation". Once you click on that option, you will be taken to another screen to get your reservation booked for the parks you want to visit and you should be all set!
One word of caution as you are getting ready for your day in the park, with these tickets, sometimes you need to stop at the front of the park to get your tickets "activated". Our family usually gets our tickets from a third-party site as well from our employers which states we have to "activate" them before usage, but never had issues going straight through. If you get stopped, just have the email confirmations handy to verify your tickets in case this situation does come up. Never hurts to be prepared!
I hoped this helped get your ticket situation resolved. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
