Ahoy Daniel,
Bravo for having that
Hawai’i voyage scheduled for next year! That was one hot ticket! I still have Guests asking me how to join that cruise, which I have to tell them that it quickly sold out. I can SEA why with so many amazing stops in all 4 of the Hawaiian islands!
Having been vaccinated with one dose of AstraZeneca and one dose of Moderna, you would not be considered to be fully vaccinated under
Disney Cruise Line’s standards (since it is mixing a vector vaccine with an mRNA vaccine). But I would hate for you to go ahead and cancel this amazing itinerary based on the current rules for cruising, only to find out several months from now that the protocols might have changed and you possibly could cruise under the new requirements. Especially since there’s no real penalty incurred at this time in the way of cancellation fees. Quite the contrary, you are still months away from incurring
cancellation fees. So I recommend that you leave the reservation intact and let it ride to see how everything plays out.
Granted, Disney Cruise Line may have these same rules well into 2022 and you decide to cancel. But as of this moment, you still have options. If you cancel, you will NOT be able to get this one back because that itinerary was INCREDIBLY popular and is completely booked up.
Check back with us at the start of 2022 to chat more about what things look like. I think that would be a better time to assess whether to keep or cancel this reservation without having any potential regrets. Plus, we always love for Guests to return and talk with us about Disney cruising!
SEA ya real soon!
