Ahoy, Beatrice! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your Disney vacation questions by land and sea.
Disney Cruise Line has offered a limited number of
Hawaiian cruises in the past, but there is no dedicated member of the fleet for sailings around the islands. Although Disney Cruise Line had been offering South Pacific cruises aboard the Disney Wonder, it was announced that the 2025-2026 itineraries scheduled through February 2026 would be the farewell season for Australia and New Zealand cruises for now. Hawaiian cruises were included as part of those South Pacific sailings and the
Disney Wonder actually just finished the final 10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver this week. Unfortunately, itineraries have been released through
Summer 2027 and there are no Hawaiian sailings being offered at this time. The good news is that I verified with a cast member that the farewell announcement was specific to Australia and New Zealand only, so Hawaiian cruises are expected to still make a comeback.
You can always find the most up-to-date information on the Disney Cruise Line website, but I also highly recommend
signing up for the Disney Cruise Line email updates, so that you don’t miss out on any of the latest news. You will get all of the new itinerary and destination announcements right in your inbox, plus special offers and updates on the growing number of ships under construction as they prepare to join the Disney fleet.
In the meantime, if you are interested in a Hawaiian vacation with a touch of Disney magic, be sure to check out
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i. My husband and I took a trip for his birthday last year and it was the perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural tradition, and, of course, pixie dust.
I hope that you are able to find the perfect Disney destination, whether it happens to be at land or sea. Fingers crossed that Hawaiian itineraries are just over the horizon and returning soon. Happy future sailing!
