We are having a moms weekend and staying at the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort. Is the resort close enough to the Boardwalk area to walk to the Boardwalk? We would love to eat dinner there one night.

    Hi Helen!

Congratulations on your Moms' Weekend!  Mom friends, beaches, and Disney ~ you've got a triple threat there!

Unfortunately you cannot walk from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Boardwalk area.  You are probably thinking of the Beach Club Resort in which you can walk.

However if you would like to eat at the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan or Dolphin one evening then just plan to go there one day you will be in Epcot.  All of these resorts are walkable (15 minutes I estimate) through the International Gateway in the World Showcase at Epcot.  I have walked over for lunch and dinner many times on days I was visiting Epcot.

Thank you for your question Helen.  I hope this information helps you in planning your Moms Magical Trip.  Please come back and visit us at the Moms Panel with any more vacation planning questions you might have.

    Have a Disney Day!
