Having visited the parks for several years i now find myself wheelchair bound, and wish to find out if there are specific areas where my party of 3 can watch parades etc in disabled areas and if so do i have to reserve them?

    Hello, Liam!

Thank you for asking us another question. There are several designated viewing areas for parades and shows for Guests with Disabilities. The areas are usually roped off with a logo of a wheelchair and are on a first come, first serve basis so plan to arrive early to secure a spot. Depending on crowd levels, it is possible that your party may need to separate and reunite after the parade or show. To find current viewing locations, stop by any Guest Relations to pick up a Guide for Guests with Disabilities for each theme park or download printable copies by scrolling to the bottom of the linked page above. You may also find Attractions Access Categories helpful to know which venues allow you to remain in your wheelchair and which require you to transfer to experience the attraction.

I hope you find the links helpful in planning your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

    Have a magical day!
