I am having trouble reserving our parks for our upcoming trip from March15-17. We have purchased our tickets but only have a barcode to show when we arrive. When I've tried to reserve it wants information on the tickets. What do I do?

    Hi Barb! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm sure you are excited about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! March is one of my favorite months to be there, mostly to attend the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! This festival transforms EPCOT into a beautiful masterpiece, filled with creative topiaries and delicious outdoor kitchens. I highly recommend making one of your park reservations at EPCOT to be part of the fun!

To make theme park reservations, I suggest creating a My Disney Experience account if you haven't done so already. There is also a user-friendly app that can be downloaded to your mobile device that will share this same log-in. Creating an account will provide you the ability to make Advanced Dining Reservations, mobile order at select Disney dining locations, make Lightning Lane reservations using Disney Genie+, link your existing tickets, and also make park reservations. This is just a shortlist of the benefits of having the app at your fingertips allows you to do.

Depending on how you purchased your tickets, you should have a unique ID code associated with them. If you have a physical ticket, the code should be somewhere toward the bottom of the barcode. If you purchased them online, you should have received an email with a confirmation or ticket code. If you are only locating a barcode on the ticket, the My Disney Experience mobile app makes it easy to link them using this barcode. Open the app and tap on the three horizontal bars at the bottom right of the screen. Once here, select "Tickets and Passes" followed by "Link Tickets & Passes". You will then see an option to "Scan Code". Once selected, hold your camera on your mobile device up to the barcode on your tickets. The camera should read this barcode and link your tickets to your account.

Once your tickets are linked, you will be able to make park reservations. You can do so using the same mobile app. Select the "+" sign surrounded by a circle on the bottom of the screen and then tap on "Make a Park Reservation". You can also log on to your My Disney Experience account on your computer to secure your park dates. If all else fails, you always have the option to call the Existing Tickets line and speak to a Cast Member. They will be happy to assist and help set up your park reservations for your selected dates.

Barb, I hope you have an amazing time on your upcoming stay!

    See ya real soon!
