Hello- having trouble navigating the booking system for Disneyland, how do you book your park days without knowing which parks have early entry and then also trying to book a character breakfast and have all the booking align for the correct park? Thanks

Hello Andrea!  Thanks for bringing your great planning question to planDisney, we're here to help!

I'm sorry you're having trouble booking your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth."  The Australian Disneyland site does recommend that you work through a local travel agent to help book your magical visit.  A local travel agent will be able to help you navigate the booking process as well as navigate the finer details of your trip.  I'm sure they will be able to ensure a smooth trip for you and your family to the States!

One of the best benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is the access to early entry, where Guests who are checked-in can take advantage of 30-minute early entry to a designated theme park every day of their hotel stay to enjoy select attractions, shopping, and dining locations.  At the current time, early entry at Disneyland Park takes place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and early entry at Disney California Adventure Park takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.  This is subject to change, so I recommend checking the theme park calendar for your exact trip dates.

We love to to experience a character dining breakfast during our trips, not only do you get a delicious meal, but you get to meet some of your favorite Disney pals!  The only character dining experience that currently takes place inside one of the theme parks is at the Plaza Inn during breakfast for "Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park."  If you secure a dining reservation for that character dining breakfast, you'll need to ensure you have a valid theme park ticket and corresponding theme park reservation for Disneyland Park that day.  All of the other character dining experiences take place at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, so it will not matter which theme park you are visiting that day.  We sometimes even do a character dining experience on a day when we aren't visiting either theme park to still get some magic in our day!

I hope this information is helpful for your planning, and you're able to book your trip soon!  I'm happy to help you plan any other details of your trip, so do not hesitate to come back and follow-up with me directly!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
