I am having trouble linking my Shades of Green reservation linking with the MyDisney app. It keeps saying I'm not entering the correct information and I have confirmed with Shades of Green that I have the correct confirmation number.

    Hey there, Brandon!

Welcome to planDisney! I hope you're having a wonderful day. Thank you so much for reaching out with your question. It's truly my pleasure to assist you. As a military spouse, your service and sacrifice are greatly appreciated. Now, let's get to your question!

When staying at Shades of Green in the past, I haven't always been able to link my reservation to my My Disney Experience account right away. Usually, it takes about 24 to 48 hours after booking for your reservation to become visible in the Disney system. Once that window passes, I’ve found it easy to link my reservation. If it's still not showing after 48 hours, just give Disney a call, a friendly Cast Member will be happy to help link your reservation.

This step is super important for planning: it's how you'll access Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, both of which I highly recommend! I love taking advantage of these times to experience popular attractions and snap photos with fewer people in the background. Also, if you're using Military Salute Tickets, don't forget that these require a theme park reservation. And if these tickets were not purchased directly from Shades of Green, they will require a valid military ID upon arrival to activate them.

Shades of Green is a beautiful resort. The rooms are spacious, and my boys absolutely love the pool! My husband can spend hours playing basketball there. Be sure to grab some ice cream in the lobby. The Exchange offers souvenirs, along with a great variety of drinks, snacks, and any essentials you may have forgotten to pack.

Make sure you're familiar with the bus schedule, as the buses run on a strict timetable. Be sure to pay attention to where the bus drops off. I recommend arriving early to avoid missing your bus. It's also important to note that Shades of Green transportation drops you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (not directly in front of Magic Kingdom Park), so plan accordingly for Early Theme Park Entry.

Brandon, thank you again for your question. If you have any others, please don't hesitate to come back and visit. It's been a pleasure helping you today.

    Your personal planning companion,
    Michelle
