Hi Jessica, welcome to planDisney!
Mickey and the rest of the
Fab 50 characters are thrilled you've answered magic's call to Walt Disney World Resort during the
50th Anniversary Celebration. You'll find Mickey
and Minnie dressed in their EARidescent finest at
Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom Park beginning July 6.
Each Guest over the age of three must have
valid admission, a
theme park reservation for each park day, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, admission card, or Disney MagicMobile pass) for theme park entry.
MagicBands make quite the functional fashion statement. These magical accessories let you tap into magic with ease at park entry, Lightning Lane entrances, and Disney PhotoPass locations.
MagicBands are non-transferable, which means they cannot be reassigned once linked to an individual in
My Disney Experience. I understand the MagicBands in your family's possession were originally linked to your profiles in a My Disney Experience account that you no longer have access to. If you're able to gain access by clicking "Need Help Signing In?" on the
account login page, there are
steps you can take online to merge the My Disney Experience profiles housed under that account with newly created accounts.
If access to the My Disney Experience account that houses your family's MagicBands is not feasible, my best recommendation is to speak with a helpful Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands number. Make sure you emphasize the fact that you're trying to reunite the MagicBands with their original and sole owners. That can be confirmed when they ask for the MagicBand ID numbers. I called last week for help with my parents' MagicBands that were originally linked to My Disney Experience profiles that have since been deleted. I called at 9:15 p.m. on a Saturday and was done with the call in less than 45 minutes. I spoke with a couple of Cast Members before finding the one with the right kind of pixie dust to assist me with my predicament. Cast Members are the heart of the 50th Anniversary Celebration and I know they will do what they can to assist your family. Phone lines are open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST.
Do me a favor, Jessica. When you see that Mickey access point turn green before entering your first theme park, will you take a mental picture of that moment and mark it as a core memory? That's the official moment your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins.
Plan magic; planDisney.
