We are having trouble getting the Character meals we want when we travel to Disney this November. will there be an opportunity to get these after we get to park? Thank you.

Greetings, Chuck! Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad you’re hEAR for help with your vacation planning. There’s no denying there are some incredibly popular character meals out there. Some of those reservations are difficult to grab.

I’ve often had trouble getting reservations to one of the most popular meals on property, Be Our Guest. If I log on to the dining system at 180 days advance only to miss out, I’m logging into the system each week or as I find free time to check on the schedule and see if there are any openings. In my opinion, the online reservations system is both faster and more convenient to use than the traditional phone line, so don’t fret. Just log on and keep trying. You’ll find that there is more availability typically as your preferred dining date draws closer, as guest tend to cancel tables or change plans. You may also try to walk up to the location, but popular restaurants such as Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table are often booked up months in advance with no openings.

If you find that you still can’t grab a table, I would consider trying to catch your favorite characters in the parks. Look at the Times Guide as you enter each park, or use your My Disney Experience Mobile App and locate characters and wait times for more fun. Have a magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
