Hi there, Chip! Welcome to planDisney!
Three chEARS to you for booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You’re so smart to have booked your vacation so early because now you have something incredible to look forward to! I bet it is going to feel like you blinked, and suddenly you're off to enjoy Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration with your family. And what a celebration it is! You’ll be arriving just in time to catch the extra sprinklings of pixie dust all around Walt Disney World in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration. Not only are the theme parks transformed into EARidescent wonders of light and color, but there are also special celebratory treats available only for a limited time. I’m headed down to Walt Disney World in a few days, and I can’t wait to try The Crooning Flower float available at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park. Lime and vanilla soft serve over a pineapple float? Yes, please!
I just love the fact that I can make payments to my vacation package over time. It makes it so much easier for me to be able to budget and afford a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because I can simply chip away at my balance leading up to the vacation rather than having to pay everything all at once! So, Chip, let’s get your payment taken care of!
Before we make your payment, let’s make sure you have your reservation linked to your My Disney Experience account. To check, open up the Walt Disney World website, and click on the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner to log into your account. From there, navigate to “My Plans,” and you should see your reservation under “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” If you don’t see it there, just follow these steps to link your reservation:
- First, locate the confirmation email you would have received when you booked your vacation. Then, make a note of the confirmation number on that email.
- Head back to the “My Plans” page of your My Disney Experience account.
- Hover over “Resort Hotel” and click on “Link a Reservation.”
- Enter the confirmation number from your email and the last name of the reservation.
- Click next, follow the prompts, and you are good to go!
Once you have your reservation linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can now make your payment by following these simple steps:
- Navigate back to the Walt Disney World Resort website.
- Make sure you are still logged into your My Disney Experience account.
- Hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner, and select "My Plans" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to your vacation details, and click on the "Make a Payment" link.
- Follow the prompts to make your payment, and you are all set.
Pretty easy, right, Chip?
I hope I have been able to help you today! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions. We here at planDisney just love helping our fellow Guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Happy planning!
