Magical Season's Greetings, Clare!
The week between Christmas and New Year's is the most wonderful time of the year. It is also the busiest time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I was excited to head to Magic Kingdom Park on New Year's Eve Day a few years ago. Luckily, we were up and at the park early, as it reached capacity at 10 a.m.
It looks like just as many Guests are hoping to ring in 2025 with the same magic. When I checked the U.S. site for single-day tickets, both
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT were sold out. Tickets were still available for
Disney Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, this may change as people buy these in hopes of
Park Hopping to Magic Kingdom or EPCOT later in the day, which is also subject to capacity.
An option you may consider is a dining reservation at a restaurant in
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. After dinner, you can enjoy views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from these resorts.
I know this is not the news you hoped to hear, Clare. Once you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort, you can check at a Ticket Center to see if any have become available.
I wish upon Evangeline, my favorite star, you get the vacation of your dreams. If we can help with any other Disney planning questions, we'd love to see you again at
planDisney and maybe have some more magical news.
Thinking of the Happiest Things!
