Hi Meredith! Thanks for giving us here at planDisney.
I'm so glad to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this coming May as you arrive in time to enjoy all that The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer! One of the most spectacular highlights of the celebration is the new nighttime fireworks spectacular, Disney Enchantment. Oh boy, is it a good show, Meredith! You’ll watch in awe as both Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. come alive with color and music. Be sure to set some time aside and keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app for each evening’s showtime!
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble linking your complimentary tickets. How frustrating! Let’s see if we can get that taken care of for you! To start, it might be helpful to restart your mobile device to do a refresh of the My Disney Experience app. Although it may seem simple, sometimes that's all that is needed to do the trick.
If that doesn’t work, I would recommend trying to link the tickets via My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website, as opposed to the mobile app. To do so, just follow these steps:
- Open up the Walt Disney World Website and click on the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner.
- Once logged in, navigate to “My Plans” by hovering over the My Disney Experience logo again.
- Scroll down until you see “Park Tickets” and click on “Link Tickets.”
- From there, input your ticket ID number and follow the prompts to complete the link.
If you are still getting the same error message, your best bet may be to reach out to Guest Relations, where a helpful Cast Member will be happy to help you with this. You can reach them at (407) 934-7639.
I do hope this was helpful to you, Meredith! If you have any questions ahead of your visit, please don't hesitate to stop by again! Like our friends over at Guest Relations, we love to help Guests like you make the absolute most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Bye for now!
Diana
