Having trouble deciding btwn CBR and POFQ. DD8, DD6, and DS10mos. The pool would be the big draw since we need afternoon for baby's nap. Is there a big difference btwn CBR & POFQ pools for kids 8 & 6? I love POFQ but is serpent pool to "young&

Port Orleans French Quarter is a smaller resort with 1,008 rooms. It has only one pool that contains a serpent slide that many children enjoy.  Also, it has an alligator band nearby that shoots water out.

The Caribbean Beach Resort is a larger resort with 2,112 rooms. It also has some themed rooms that that include characters from Finding Nemo as well as pirate rooms (sleep in a pirate ship!).  With its larger size, it has a grand total of 9 pools, which include the 6 village (building groups) pools, a wading pool, a whirlpool, and a large themed pool that was renovated not too long ago.

So all in all, there really isn't much of a comparison with the pools.  If you'd like to see more pictures of the pool beyond the WDW website, you may want to visit www.allearsnet.com.  Click on Accommodations at the top of the homepage.

Just keep in mind the CBR is a large resort, so you may not have a room near the main pool and will have to either walk a long distance or utilize the internal transportation system. However, you will have a pool near your village.

I hope I answered your question well; it was cut off at the end :(  If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to send us another one.
