Hi Angela,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Choosing between
Jiko - The Cooking Place and
Tiffins as your dining experience is choosing between amazingly delicious and deliciously amazing. I love both restaurants and, personally, I think either will be wonderful. The Taste of Africa naan and dips at Jiko is a fantastic start to your meal. At Tiffins, I find the Charred Octopus appetizer artfully prepared. I feel the vibe and ambiance at each restaurant is simply relaxing and enjoyable, and the attentive service at each will keep you in great care. So, how to decide between them? I have two suggestions. First, check out the menu for
Jiko and for
Tiffins. You know the tastes and level of culinary adventure for your group better than anyone. I find that Tiffins offers delightful dishes you won't typically find elsewhere, and that's one of the aspects I love about the menu. Both restaurants offer kids' meals as well. The second suggestion is to just think about logistics and location. Tiffins, with its space inside Disney's Animal Kingdom, makes it super convenient to enjoy the park and stroll into the restaurant. Jiko, on the other hand, means a short trip over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. You'll also want to consider your after-dinner plans and the
park's scheduled hours when making your choice.
Any way you look at it, Angela, you are in for a memorable dining experience.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
