Ahoy there, Megan! Thanks for stopping back by planDisney with your question.
I completely understand how confusing it can get when trying to choose the perfect
Port Adventure for an upcoming trip. With so many incredible options, you really can’t go wrong! That being said, I know it helps to talk through all the differences between them to find the right fit for you and your crew.
While my planDisney pals and I are happy to share our personal experiences, we obviously haven’t crossed every adventure off our list. So my best advice would be to
call a friendly Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who can discuss all the details with you. Sometimes there are small differences in the activities you’ll see online, such as a full-day vs. half-day private tour. Other times, you’ll see similar water adventures, but one might involve scuba diving while another would just be snorkeling. Whatever the case, calling a Disney Cruise Line representative would be the most effective way to get those questions answered.
One thing I love about booking excursions directly through Disney Cruise Line is that I know they’ve vetted the local vendors they work with. Plus, taking a Disney Port Adventure is the only guaranteed way to make it back to the ship on time. And when you do disembark, make sure you have your Key to the World Card or
DisneyBand+ (as well as required government identification) with you to make your time ashore and your subsequent embarkation as smooth as possible.
Whether choosing a culinary adventure or sightseeing in ancient cities, you’ll find many thrilling ways to spend your days in port. And if you have any follow-up questions after you book, don’t hesitate to head back to us here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
