    I am having trouble adding Genie Plus to our current reservation

    Hi Staci,

    Welcome to planDisney!

    I’m more than happy to help walk you through Genie+, but first let’s confirm a few things!

    First, you want to make sure that all your guests traveling for the vacation have their Theme Park tickets linked in the My Disney Experience mobile app. You’ll want to select the three lines in the lower right-hand corner, then under “Tickets and Passes”, you should see all the Theme Park tickets for your trip.

    Next, you’ll want to confirm that you each have a Disney Park Pass reservation for every day of your trip. Keep in mind that a Disney Park Pass is needed in addition to the Theme Park ticket for each member of your party. If you haven’t already created these reservations, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom of the My Disney Experience mobile app (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Make a Park Reservation” then select “Theme Park Tickets”. This will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you can select your Disney Park Pass reservations.

    Once the above steps are done, let’s head over to Genie+. Select the three lines in the lower right-hand corner, then select the box titled “My Genie Day”. Next, in the top right corner you’ll want to select “Change Day” and select the day that you want to have Genie+. Once the correct day is selected you should see the date appear in the upper left-hand corner. Now you should be able to select “Get Disney Genie+ for Today” in the purple bar in the middle of the screen. Then tap “Get Disney Genie+ Service” and all of your party with Theme Park tickets should be eligible for the Genie+ service. Continue through the payment process and you’ll be all set to unleash the Genie! Just remember to come back at 7:00 a.m. on the days you have the service so you can select your party’s first Lightning Lane option.
