We are having a tough time deciding when to visit: sometime in November or December 2013, would like to avoid the week of Thanksgiving and don't want to go as late as Christmas. Looking for when the lowest crowds would be and good weather (maybe to swim?)

    Hi Angela!

Honestly, you've chosen one of the most perfect times to visit Walt Disney World.  The period beginning after Thanksgiving until the week prior to Christmas is ideal because the crowd evels will be among the lowest of the year and the temperatures will be cool and comfortable!  The resort pools are always heated, so guests can enjoy swimming year round!  To top it all off, the parks and resorts will be decked out with beautiful lights and holiday decorations.

Taking all of this into consideration, you'll be good to go anytime between late November and mid December!

    Best Wishes,
