Another ? Having 2nd thoughts on breakfast @Ashershus. Heard menu is not really american fare. Was hoping to get a plain bagel or waffle & fruit for my daughter. Trying to weigh interaction w/princesses vs.skipping breakfast & getting to park ear

Hi Amy! Nice to hear from you again! Your girls' trip with your daughter is coming up soon -- I know you must be so excited! The princess breakfast at Akershus generally gets rave reviews from most guests, so I don't think you'd regret dining there. Although there is a Norwegian influence, the food served at breakfast is definitely American fare. The server will bring a plate of hot items to your table that includes eggs, bacon, sausage and a potato casserole. The meal also includes a buffet of various fruits, cheeses, some fish such as smoked salmon and herring (here's the Norwegian influence), and various breads and pastries. You most likely won't find waffles, but you'll generally see muffins, croissants, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, and danishes.

I know you had planned to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table too, so if you decide to pass on breakfast at Akershus, you'll still have plenty of opportunities to see the princesses at Epcot. I frequently see them greeting guests around the World Showcase. Just pick up a Times Guide on the way into the park to see their schedule for the day you're visiting.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
