Having stayed at SS, BCV & BWV we're looking for something different. We tried for BLT and are waitlisted and chose AKV. I'm now concerned reading about transportation delays. We can change to VWL. Do you reccomend either? Pros and cons? Thanks, Bill W

    Hi Bill,

Sounds like you are like me in that you love to try all the different Disney Vacation Club resorts.  I have stayed at both Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas (AKV) and the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (VWL).  They are both extraordinary, well-themed resorts designed by the same architect.  If you love wild animals, then your choice is a "no-brainer;" Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas are the obvious selection. Where else can you see giraffes and gazelles amble by your resort room balcony? Otherwise, I'd pick the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.  Not only do I enjoy the theme more there, but you can't beat the proximity to the Magic Kingdom. (It's a 4 minute bus ride or a ridiculously fun boat ride from VWL to the Magic Kingdom).  Since you were interested in Bay Lake Tower, my guess is that you'd enjoy the location of VWL.  Seriously, though, you can't make a bad choice between these resorts.

Let us know if you need any additional information.  We'd be happy to help!
