Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Trisha!
Celebrating Thanksgiving at the most magical place on Earth is one of my favorite holiday memories. What a great time you'll have!
Many of
Walt Disney World's restaurants feature an additional selection of traditional dishes on Thanksgiving Day, with chefs putting their own spin on each creation. When you look at a WDW restaurant that offers additional Thanksgiving options, you'll see "Disney Dining on Thanksgiving Day" listed on that location's page. This year, there are 28 dining locations which will do so, including one of our favorites,
Le Cellier Steakhouse. Enter "
Thanksgiving" into the search bar on WDW's website, and you'll see a list of many dining locations offering traditional dishes on Thanksgiving.
What I love about this option is that those in the family who do not care for turkey (gasp!) can order a very special meal that day, too, while the rest of the group can enjoy this culinary tradition.
Also, a great
unofficial source of information is allears.net. There, enter "Thanksgiving" into the search bar, and you'll see lots of unofficial posts about Thanksgivings past. Glancing through "What to do and Where to Dine Thanksgiving Day at Walt Disney World", you'll see many
guest suggestions for Thanksgiving dining under "Places to Dine". This will give you an idea of the variety of options chefs prepare on this special day. Another great source of unofficial information is Disney Food Blog, where you'll find lots of reviews of all things dining in Disney.
Have a fantastic holiday, Trisha! Send more questions as you plan; we love to help!
