Will we be having Merriest nights again , they haven’t seem to post anything about it and it’s almost October!!!

Hi there, Arianda! Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy you made it on over to our corner of the magic.

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are such a festive time of year! The holly jolly spirit is around every corner whether you are enjoying A Christmas Fantasy Parade along Main Street, U.S.A. or celebrations from around the globe at Disney California Adventure Park's Disney Festival of the Holidays! While the seasonal offerings this year are filled with holiday magic, we've just heard that Merriest Nites will not be returning for this holiday season. I feel like a bit of a Scrooge McDuck having to share that news - I'm sorry if I put a little damper on that mistletoe!

Let's dive into where we can find that holiday cheer throughout the parks. The most magical time of the year can be experienced starting November 11th through January 8th. Plenty of time to enjoy the season! Both parks will be overflowing with holiday offerings:

Disneyland Park will see the return of the beloved "it's a small world" Holiday where you can sail through the world and sing along with some favorite holiday tunes. If you time it just right, you can catch "it's a small world' Holiday Lighting when that famous facade becomes a glow with dazzling lights that sparkle! Over on Main Street, U.S.A., we already talked about A Christmas Fantasy Parade where you can catch a glimpse of the big guy himself ... and here we are talking about Santa! At night, you'll want to check the Entertainment Schedule to catch "Believe ... In the Holiday Magic Fireworks" which will light the night above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, Cars Land is one of my favorite places to visit during this season! Spin through Luigi's Joy to the Whirl and Mater's Jingle Jamboree all while taking in the lights of Radiator Springs dressed up for the holidays! Be sure to stay until nightfall to catch World of Color - Season of Light! Bring your appetite, because you will want to feast through the Festival of the Holidays and try seasonal treats from around the world!

Arianda, I hope this was helpful even if it wasn't the news you were looking for. If you have any more questions, please come back to see us here at planDisney!

    Happy Holidays!
    Tara
