Hi there, Tom!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. If you haven’t had a chance to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app yet, I recommend going ahead and getting it on your smartphone so you can start exploring all the fun that awaits you onboard. Once onboard it will be your “go to” for so much information – schedules of activities and entertainment, menus, deck plans and much more!
First-run movies are one thing that my husband ALWAYS looks forward to when onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. We don’t often make it to the theaters when at home so getting the chance to see movies in the
Buena Vista Theatre is a treat…especially with the refillable popcorn buckets! Unfortunately, the schedule of movies and showtimes is not released prior to getting onboard, but you can find it on the Navigator app once onboard. From my experience, the movie showtimes are shown throughout the day, and if a movie is scheduled for one of the nights’ evening entertainment, there will be two screenings of it, as there are always two shows each night so all Guests can enjoy the show opposite their
rotational dining. In addition to the movies in the shown in the Buena Vista Theatre, you will also find Disney favorites shown on the Funnel Vision screen by the pool and you will even be able to catch some movies on the television in your stateroom.
Tom, as you continue planning for your adventure on the high seas, please come back with any other questions you may have! Wishing you a magical and memorable voyage!
Stephanie
