Having an issue with my sons lightsaber we purchased last week. It’s only lighting up half of the blade

    Hi Kelly! Welcome to planDisney.

I hope your family had an epic time last week at the Walt Disney World Resort! Since you’re Star Wars fans, I hope you enjoyed exploring Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. Whether you’re flying the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run or sipping frosty blue milk at Milk Stand, it’s always a good day to live your Star Wars adventure.

Master Yoda would not be pleased to hear that your padawan’s lightsaber is not operating to its full potential. As Yoda would say, “have it fixed, you must.” I’m glad you stopped by so Princess Leia could provide the blueprints to get you the assistance you need.

To inquire about your options for getting the lightsaber repaired or replaces, please call Merchandise Guest Services at 1-877-560-6477. You may also email them at merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com. If emailing, be sure to give as much information as you can – if you have your receipt, provide the item number, cost, transaction number, and the name of the location where the lightsaber was purchased. Be sure to describe the malfunction in detail to help them identify the correct next steps.

Here’s hoping your youngling is back to wielding his lightsaber very soon!

May the Force be with you,
     Robyn
