Having heard that the lines for lunch at Be Our Guest are very long, I'm wondering if guests are allowed to walk around and see the building without ordering, or is it necessary to order before being allowed into the dining rooms?

    Hi, Bobbi!

The new Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland was an instant hit the moment it opened.  Yes, the lines can get very long for lunch.  I was there in December, and lines were forming by 10:15 am for the lunch rush.  Because of the crowds, only those dining may enter the restaurant.

That said, when I was there in December, we arrived very early in the morning, just after rope drop.  We were allowed to walk into the lobby area of Be Our Guest and take a quick peek at the beautiful main dining room.  We could not actually enter the dining area, but we got a great look at this magnificent room.  It is beyond words, you really feel as if you walked into the ballroom scene of Beauty and the Beast!

Policies are always changing, so you may or may not get to check out the restaurant as I did.  Your very best option to see the restaurant without the long waits would be to make a dining reservation for dinner when it transforms to a table service location.   A group of my fellow Disney Moms did wait in line for lunch, and they said the line, although long, moved quickly and that the food was well worth the wait.

Whatever you decide, I hope you get to somehow experience this awesome new restaurant in Fantasyland!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
