    Hi Amy!

I just love the Value and Moderate Resorts in Walt Disney World, but that being said, the Deluxe Resorts are even more amazing and breathtaking. The Deluxe Resorts do cost quite a bit more per night, but they offer much larger rooms and other incredible perks such as being close to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot as well as amazing themes.  In the Deluxe Resort category, there are more expensive Resorts than the others and they are the Contemporary Resort, the Polynesian Resort, and the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  These three Resorts are on the Resort Monorail Loop and are very close to the Magic Kingdom.

Have I got an amazing Deluxe Resort for you!  My pick for you is the Wilderness Lodge Resort!  My son and I stayed there two times last year.  Here is some reasons why it is our favorite Resort:
    1. The theme of the Wilderness Lodge which was designed like the Old Faithful Yellowstone Lodge.  It feels like you are in the Pacific Northwest and the lobby alone will take your breath away!
    2. The Wilderness Lodge is very close to the Magic Kingdom, in fact it is only a short boat or bus ride to the Magic Kingdom
    3. It has a great pool and two awesome sit down restaurants (Whispering Canyon Cafe and Artist Point) and a quick service restaurant (The Roaring Fork) right inside the resort
    4. The Fire Rock Geyser erupts on the hour
    5. The rooms are amazing too with wood animal carvings on the headboards of the queen sized beds

A close second Deluxe Resort to try is the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where if you have a Savanna view room you can see African animals right from your room!  I would encourage you to give the Deluxe Resorts a try, but I will warn you that once you go Deluxe you may never want to go back to a Moderate or Value Resort!
I hope your Deluxe Resort stay in Walt Disney World is magical!
    Keep Dreaming Big!
