Hi Jamie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you are still planning to use one of the
Disney Dining Plans!
You can certainly check out the
quick-service restaurant list for the dining plans prior to your visit. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, we like ABC Commissary. At Epcot, we enjoy Sunshine Seasons. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, we like Satu'li Canteen and at Magic Kingdom, we like Be Our Guest Restaurant (currently, quick-service is at breakfast or lunch). Prior to your visit, double-check the restaurants that you plan to visit - from the home page of the restaurant, you should see a link that says "Some Dining Plans Accepted" if the restaurant accepts a dining plan. If you click on that icon, a pop-up chart should appear that indicates which dining plans are accepted.
My family has used the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan and we prefer the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. We actually love the dining experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort and appreciate slowing down to eat. On the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan we also dine at a few signature restaurants. Cinderella's Royal Table and California Grill are two of our favorites. Having said that, however, we have also dined well on the
Disney Dining Plan. On this plan, we always brought healthy snacks with us and we would eat those for breakfast. Then we used our quick-service meal entitlements for lunch and our table-service entitlements for dinner.
Jamie, be sure that you make advanced dining reservations!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
